Set Up the ERBESSD INSTRUMENTS® Integration

The ERBESSD INSTRUMENTS integration is a fully managed integration. Contact your MaintainX® representative to get started with the onsite installation of the PHANTOM® sensors and gateway.

Setting up the integration in MaintainX requires creating a connector instance and generating the token that your PHANTOM Gateway uses to authenticate. You then add the token to the gateway, as described in Configure the PHANTOM Gateway.

Create a Connector Instance​

  1. Log into MaintainX as an Administrator.
  2. From the sidebar, select Settings. Under Organization Settings, select Integrations.
  3. On the Integrations page, go to the Connectors tab.
  4. On the ERBESSD INSTRUMENTS tile, select Manage.
  5. Select + Create New Instance.
  6. In the Instance name field, enter a descriptive name (for example, Plant 1 Lathe A).
  7. Select Next: Generate Token.

Generate and Save the Token​

The token authenticates your PHANTOM Gateway with MaintainX. Each instance has its own token.

Keep your token secure. Do not share it with unauthorized users.

  1. Select Generate Token.
  2. Copy the token and save it somewhere secure. You add it to the gateway, as described in Configure the PHANTOM Gateway.

The token is displayed only once when you generate it. If you lose it, you can revoke the token and generate a new one from the instance's settings.

After you generate the token, the new instance appears in the Instances list with the status Waiting for Connection. It changes to Connected once the gateway successfully sends its first reading.
