The availability displayed in Workload View can be configured for each technician individually. This allows you to plan and schedule work according to each person’s shift pattern, including any irregular hours or days off.
To update the availability for a team member, click on the capacity displayed underneath their name on the weekly calendar. This will allow you to update their usual weekly schedule using the Default Schedule tab.
Using the Custom Capacity by Week tab, you can specify availability on certain dates that differs from a team member’s usual schedule. This allows you to plan for days off, half days, and other irregular occurrences.
You can configure the capacity for your organization as a whole in your organization settings, by navigating to Settings → Features → Work Orders. For more information, read Configuring Resource Planning for your organization.
