How to Use MaintainX CoPilot®

You can interact with MaintainX CoPilot using written or recorded prompts in natural language. A prompt is a question or instruction you give MaintainX CoPilot to receive a specific response. MaintainX CoPilot supports different prompt types, from simple questions to complex instructions. The clearer and more specific your prompt is, the more accurate and relevant the response will be.
After you interact with MaintainX CoPilot, you can access the full conversation thread by selecting CoPilot in the asset's details. The thread remains available for you to review at any time.
Prompt Types​
How you interact with MaintainX CoPilot may vary based on the features you use. MaintainX CoPilot adapts to your workflow, whether you’re on the floor using MaintainX® on a mobile device or creating tasks in the web application.
MaintainX CoPilot supports the following prompt types:
- Direct prompt: direct question or instruction that provide clear guidance and intent. You don't need to give additional context or examples.
- Conversational prompt: open question or instruction. You can ask follow-up questions or give additional instructions to reach your intended goal.
How to Write Effective Prompts​
To help MaintainX CoPilot assist you, your prompt should:
