Process Asset Manuals with MaintainX CoPilot®

This article explains how MaintainX CoPilot processes your documents. Normally, it processes documents automatically, but in some cases, you might have to enable processing manually. The following table explains how processing happens.

Important

In a newly created organization with MaintainX CoPilot enabled, you don't need to manually enable the AI assistant for each manual or document. MaintainX CoPilot processes them automatically.

Enable MaintainX CoPilot for an Existing Asset

1. In the asset details, select CoPilot, then select the (library) icon.
2. Select Enable next to the manual you want MaintainX CoPilot to process. Your asset becomes MaintainX®-CoPilot enabled.

MaintainX CoPilot first processes your manual, then you can ask it questions.

After you enable MaintainX CoPilot in the MaintainX web application, you can use it in the MaintainX mobile application too. MaintainX CoPilot only references MaintainX CoPilot-enabled manuals and documents to answer your questions.

After you enable MaintainX CoPilot on an existing asset, MaintainX CoPilot automatically processes any new documents added to that asset.
