Delete an Asset

This article explains how to delete an asset, bulk delete assets and restore a deleted asset.

To delete an asset:

  1. From the sidebar, select Assets.
  2. Select the asset you want to delete.
  3. On the asset details page, select more options .
  4. Select Delete.
  5. When prompted, select Confirm to delete the asset.

When you delete an asset, the asset details page displays the deletion date and time.

Bulk Delete Assets​

You can only bulk delete assets in the web app.

You can bulk delete assets from the Split view or the Table view.

To bulk delete assets:

  1. From the sidebar, select Assets.
  2. Select (Table View) or (Split View).
  3. On the assets, hover over the icon until a checkbox appears.
  4. Select the checkbox for each asset you want to delete.
  5. Select the (Trash can) icon to delete the selected assets.
  6. When prompted, select Confirm to delete the assets.

If you are in Table view, the deleted assets appear highlighted in the table.

Restore a Deleted Asset​

You can only restore deleted assets in the web app.

You can restore a deleted asset from the Table view.

To restore a deleted asset:

  1. From the sidebar, select Assets.

  2. Select (Table View).

  3. In the Table view, select (Settings) .

  4. In the Table view settings, go to Options and toggle on Show deleted Assets.

  5. Select Apply.

    In the Table view, deleted assets appear highlighted.

  6. To select the assets you want to restore:

    1. Hover over the icon of each deleted asset you want to restore until a checkbox appears.
    2. Select the checkbox.

  7. From the Edit Asset toolbar, select Restore.

  8. When prompted, select Confirm to restore the selected assets.

tip

For easy access to deleted assets in the Table view, add the Deleted On column to the table and sort your assets by that column. This groups all deleted assets at the top of your table. For more information, see View and Filter Assets.
