Procedure scoring is the ability to assign point values to fields in a procedure, and specify a goal score that's a percentage of the maximum possible score. You can customize the number of points for each field in the procedure based on your company's priorities and goals. When the procedure score is under the goal score, it triggers a corrective action.
For example, you specify that the final score of a procedure needs to be more than 50% of the maximum score for the procedure to be successful. But, after you complete the procedure, the total score is 35%. A prompt appears asking you to create a corrective action.
Goal Score and Field Scores​
When you turn on scoring for a procedure, you can set point values for individual fields. The total of all of those points is the procedure's maximum score. When you change the point value for a field, the maximum score updates accordingly. You can also set the percentage of the maximum score to use as a goal score for the procedure.
You can only add scoring to following types of procedure fields:
Add Scoring to a Procedure​
When creating or editing a procedure, do as follows to add scoring to the procedure:

From the sidebar, select Library > Procedures.

Select + New Procedure Template.

Select one of the following ways to create a procedure:

On the procedure editing screen, turn on the Scoring toggle. A maximum score appears next to the procedure title and a maximum field score appears next to each procedure field.

In the Max Score box, select Settings.

In the Select the minimum score goal dialog, select one of the preset minimum score goal:
- None
- 25%
- 50%
- 75%
- or a custom value.
When the procedure scores below the goal score, MaintainX triggers a corrective action.

Next to procedure fields with the Max. Field Score field, select (Edit) icon.

You can also:- Select Add Option to add a field.
- Next to a field score, select to remove the option.
- Turn off the Scoring toggle to remove scoring from the field.
Select Save and Apply.
