Import a Procedure

This article explains how to submit a request for MaintainX Customer Support to import your procedures and add them to your procedure library. Examples of documents you might want to import include forms, checklist, and procedures.

Requirements​

Documents you send to MaintainX must meet the following requirements:

  • Smaller than 4MB
  • Not password protected

You need to be the Administrator of your organization to request an import. If you aren't an Administrator, the Customer Support team will need a confirmation from your Administrator to proceed with the import.

Procedure imports are limited to 5 requests for Trial, Essential, and Premium plan users.

Send a Procedure Import Request​

  1. From the sidebar, select Library > Procedures.
  2. Select + New Procedure Template.
  3. Select Import your procedures. A chat widget appears with a pre-populated message containing requirements for the document import.
  4. Upload the document directly into the chat.
  5. Send the uploaded document.

The MaintainX Support team reviews your request and imports the template to your Procedure Library.
