Copy a Meter

To copy a meter:

Follow the steps below for the web or mobile application:

Web

1. From the sidebar, select Meters.

2. From the list, navigate to the meter that you would like to copy.

3. Select the meter to open it.

4. On the meter details page, select more options.

5. Select Copy to New Meter.

   A copy of the meter is created.

6. Make any updates as needed to the following fields:

   Field	Description
   Measurement Unit	Choose from one of the following measurement units: DISTANCE VOLUME TEMPERATURE OTHER You can also type the measurement unit directly in the text box and select Use.
   Meter Type	Select the type of meter: Manual: for a manual meter. IoT Device: for an automatic meter.
   Assign to	Assign the meter to an Asset or Location.
   Reading Frequency	Choose from one of the following reading frequencies: None Hour Day Week Month Year

7. Select Update.

Mobile

1. From the bottom navigation bar, select More.

2. Select Meters.

3. From the list, navigate to the meter that you would like to copy.

4. Select the meter to open it.

5. On the meter details page, select more options.

6. Select Copy to New Meter.

   A copy of the meter is created.

7. Make any updates as needed to the following fields:

   Field	Description
   Measurement Unit	Choose from one of the following measurement units: DISTANCE VOLUME TEMPERATURE OTHER You can also type the measurement unit directly in the text box and select Use.
   Meter Type	Select the type of meter: Manual: for a manual meter. IoT Device: for an automatic meter.
   Assign to	Assign the meter to an Asset or Location.
   Reading Frequency	Choose from one of the following reading frequencies: None Hour Day Week Month Year

8. Select Update.
