This article describes the Quotes module panel view, explains how to view quotes by status, and highlights key quote details.
Access the Quotes Module​
To access the Quotes module, from the sidebar, select Quotes.
The Quotes View​
The quotes view is a panel view, similar to panel views for other MaintainX entities. The left-hand panel lists quotes, organized by status. The right-hand panel displays quote details.
The Quotes List​
The quotes list is split into three tabs so you can view quotes by status:
- Pending: lists pending quotes with status Not sent and Awaiting approval, grouped by status.
- Approved: lists quotes with the status Approved, grouped according to whether they have an associated work order.
- Rejected: lists quotes with the status Rejected.
In each group, MaintainX lists quotes from newest to oldest.
Quote Details​
The details panel shows all of the quote details, including information about the customer, asset, location, required parts and labor, and comments.
When you create a work order from an approved quote, work order information like ID, title, and status appears in the quote details.
MaintainX also adds the Quote ID and a link to the quote in the work order details.
