Best Practices for Search in the Messages Module
The search tool helps you quickly find the information you need. Here are some tips and best practices to help you get the most accurate results.
Keep Your Search Focused
When possible, avoid using long, full-sentence searches. Instead, focus on two to five strong keywords that describe what you’re looking for. This approach helps improve the accuracy of your results.
Review and Refine
If your results are too broad, refine your search by using a search filter, such as Messages, to help you narrow your search.
Use Keyboard Shortcuts
Press Cmd + K/Ctrl + K on your computer keyboard to open Search. Use the up and down arrow keys to navigate results, and press Enter to open the selected result all without using your mouse.
