This article explains how to delete and restore a work order template.

When you delete a work order template, you can no longer use the template in new work orders. Existing work orders, recurring or not, will preserve their data. However, the link to the templates will be lost and field properties defined by the templates will no longer apply.

To delete a work order template:

1. From the sidebar, select Library > Work Orders.
2. Locate the work order template you want to delete.
3. Select (more options).
4. Select Delete Template.
5. When prompted, select Confirm to delete the work order template.

When you delete a work order template, the work order template is highlighted in yellow in the Library.

Restore a Deleted Work Order Template

If you delete a work order template by mistake, you can restore it right away. If you refresh your page, the work order template no longer appears and you can no longer restore it.

To restore a deleted work order template:

1. Locate the work order template you just deleted. The deleted work template is highlighted in yellow.
2. Select (more options).
3. Select Restore Template.
4. When prompted, select Confirm to restore the work order template.
