Delete a Location

This article explains how to delete a location, bulk delete locations, and restore a deleted location.

Delete a Location​

  1. From the sidebar, select Locations.
  2. Select (Split View) or (Table View).
  3. Select the location you want to delete.
  4. On the location details page, select more options (â‹®).
  5. Select Delete.
  6. When prompted, select Confirm to delete the location.

If you are in Table view, when you delete a location, the location details page displays the deletion date and time.

Bulk Delete Locations​

You can only bulk delete locations in the MaintainX web app.

To bulk delete locations:

  1. From the sidebar, select Locations.
  2. Select (Split View) or (Table View).
  3. In the table, hover over a location's icon until a checkbox appears.
  4. Select the checkbox for each location you want to delete.
  5. Select the (Trash can) icon to delete the selected locations.
  6. When prompted, select Confirm to delete the locations.

If you are in Table View, the deleted locations appear highlighted in the table.

Restore a Deleted Location​

You can only restore deleted locations in the MaintainX web app.

To restore a deleted location:

  1. From the sidebar, select Locations.

  2. Select (Table View).

  3. In the Table view, select (Settings).

  4. In the Table view settings, go to Options and toggle on Show deleted Locations.

  5. Select Apply.

    In the Table view, deleted locations appear highlighted.

  6. To select the locations you want to restore:

    1. Hover over the icon of each deleted location you want to restore until a checkbox appears.
    2. Select the checkbox.
  7. From the Edit Locations toolbar, select (Restore).

  8. When prompted, select Confirm to restore the selected locations.

tip

For easy access to deleted locations in the Table view, add the Deleted On column to the table and sort your locations by that column. This groups all deleted locations at the top of the table.
