Delete Meters

This article explains how to delete a meter and how to restore a deleted meter.
Delete a Meter​
To delete a meter:
Follow the steps below for the web or mobile application:
- Web
- Mobile

From the sidebar, select Meters.

From the list, navigate to the meter that you would like to delete.

Select the meter to open it.

On the meter details page, select more options.

Select Delete.
The meter is now deleted.

From the bottom navigation bar, select More.

Select Meters.
-
From the list, navigate to the meter that you would like to delete.

Select the meter to open it.

On the meter details page, select more options.

Select Delete.
The meter is now deleted.
Bulk Delete Meters​
You can only bulk delete meters in the MaintainX® web application.
You can bulk delete meters from the Panel view or the Table view.
To bulk delete meters:

From the sidebar, select Meters.

Select (Table View) or (Panel View).

To select the meters you want to bulk delete:
- Hover over the icon of each meter you want to delete until a checkbox appears.
- Select the checkbox.

Select the (Trash can) icon to delete the selected meters.

When prompted, select Yes to delete the meters.
If you are in Table view, the deleted meters appear highlighted in the table.
Restore a Deleted Meter​
If you delete a meter by mistake, you can restore it from the Table view in the Meters module.
To restore a deleted meter:
Follow the steps below for the web application:

From the sidebar, select Meters.

Select (Table View).
-
In Table View, select (Settings) and under Options, toggle Show only deleted meters on.

From the list, navigate to the meter that you would like to restore.

Select the meter to open it.

On the meter details page, select more options.

Select Restore.
-
Select Confirm.
The meter is now restored.
