Request Exports

This article explains how to export request data to CSV (Excel), and provides detailed descriptions of how MaintainX exports data.

Export Request Data​

  1. From the sidebar, select Reporting.

  2. In the Reporting module, go to the Export Data tab.

  3. Select Requests.

  4. In the Export Request List section, set the following options:

    OptionDescription
    Date RangeUse the date picker to set the date range for the export.
    Export FormatSelect CSV(Excel).
    ColumnsSelect the columns to include in the export file. For more details about each column, see List of Request Export Columns.
  5. Do one of the following:

    • Select Schedule to export the data on a regular schedule. For details, see Scheduled Data Exports.
    • Select Export to export data right away. MaintainX saves the exported file to the download center, and a download notification appears.
  6. If you selected Export in the previous step, from the download notification you can do any of the following:

    • Download the exported file.
    • Select View in Download Center to open the download center. The exported file appears in the Export Request History section.

List of Request Export Columns​

ColumnDescription
IDThe unique identification number of the request in the MaintainX organization.
TitleThe title of the request in MaintainX.
StatusThe current status of the request or the current status of the work order generated by a request.

If the request is not attached to a work order, the status of the request appears here. If the request is attached to a work order, the status of the work order appears.
PriorityThe priority set for the request.
DescriptionThe description of the request.
Location NameThe name of the location specified in the request.
Creation DateThe creation date and time of the request.
Last Updated (Approval/Rejection)The date and time the request or the work order generated by a request was last updated with an Approve Request or Decline Request status.
CreatorThe name of the user who created the request from the MaintainX web or mobile application.
Work OrderThe title of the work work order attached to the request.

This field remains empty if the request is not turned into a work order.
Work Order IDThe unique identification number of the work order in the MaintainX organization attached to the request.

This field remains empty if the request is denied or if no work order is created from this request.
AssetThe asset added to the request from a requester portal.
Contact InfoThe contact information of the user who created the request from a requester portal.

The Requester Portal is an additional module only available for Enterprise and Premium plans to the organization’s Administrator.
NoteThe reason why the request was denied.

This field remains empty if the request is not denied.
