This article explains how to export location data to CSV (Excel) or QR Codes (PDF), and provides detailed descriptions of how MaintainX exports data.

Export Location Data

1. From the sidebar, select Reporting.

2. In the Reporting module, go to the Export Data tab.

3. Select Locations.

4. In the Export Format section, select the file export format. Depending on the format you select, different options are available:

   CSV (Excel)

   Option	Description
   Columns	Select the columns to include in the export file. For more details about each column, see List of Location Export Columns.

   QR Codes (PDF)

   Option	Description
   QR Labels format	Select the QR labels dimension and template: 2" x 2" - Avery 94107 1" x 2 5/8" - Avery 94200 1" x 4" - Avery 94202 For details about exporting assets' QR Codes to PDF file see Print and Export QR Codes and Barcodes.

5. Do one of the following:

   • Select Schedule to export the data on a regular schedule. For details, see Scheduled Data Exports.
   • Select Export to export the data right away. MaintainX saves the exported file to the download center, and a download notification appears.

6. If you selected Export in the previous step, from the download notification you can do any of the following:

   • Download the exported file.
   • Open the export in a browser new tab. This option is only available for PDF files.
   • Select View in Download Center to open the download center. The exported file appears in the Export Request History section.

List of Location Export Columns

Column	Description
Name	The name of the location.
ID	The location’s unique identification number in the MaintainX organization.
Parent	The parent location associated with the location. The field remains empty if the location is not attached to a parent.
Parent ID	The unique identification number of the parent location associated with the location.
Address	The address associated with the location.
QR/Barcode	Barcode or QR Code used to identify the location.
URL	The location’s internal URL. Only users logged in to MaintainX can access a location with this URL.
Description	The description of the location.
Teams Assigned to	The teams assigned to the location.
Vendors	The name of the vendor associated with the location.
Created by	The name of the user who created the location.
Created on	The creation date and time of the location in UTC format.
Last updated	The date and time the location was last updated.
Thumbnail	The internal URL to the thumbnail associated with the location. Only users logged in to MaintainX can access a location’s thumbnail with this URL.
Attachments	The internal URLs to the attachments associated with the location. Only users logged in to MaintainX can access a location’s attachments with this URL.
